Every woman deserves to be photographed beautifully.

There are many reasons a woman may choose to be photographed. To mark a moment in life, to celebrate a chapter, to reconnect with herself, or simply because beautiful portraits of ourselves are so rarely made, and yet so worth having.

My women’s portrait sessions are carefully crafted fine art experiences designed around how you want to be seen. Together, we explore not only the aesthetic of the portraits, but the deeper qualities you want them to hold, your personality, your femininity, your strength, your softness, and the particular phase of life you are in now.

This is an entirely collaborative process. We begin with a deeper conversation about what draws you to the experience, how you would like to feel in the photographs, and what kind of images feel most recognisable and meaningful to you. From there, I develop and art direct the session with care, shaping the concept, location, styling and visual atmosphere so that the final portraits feel both beautiful and deeply personal.

The result is a bespoke portrait experience that is refined, intentional and entirely your own.

Based in Wiltshire, I photograph women throughout the South of England and internationally by arrangement.

A portrait experience shaped around you

No two women come to a session for exactly the same reason, and no two sessions should ever feel the same.

Some are drawn to something understated and natural. Others want portraits that feel more expressive, fashion led or transformative. Some are marking a milestone or a change in life. Others simply want to create something beautiful for themselves. Whatever draws you here, the process begins with understanding who you are, what this moment means, and how you want to be represented.

Together, we build the session from there, thoughtfully, creatively and without haste.

A collaborative creative process

Each portrait session begins with an in depth conversation. We talk about what you are drawn to visually, what you want the portraits to say, how you would like to feel when you see them, and the elements of your character or identity you want the work to reflect.

From there, we shape the creative direction together. This may include wardrobe, styling, location, mood, colour, light and the overall tone of the images. Some sessions are quiet and pared back. Others feel more cinematic, romantic or editorial. Every detail is considered.

I then art direct the shoot in full, guiding the experience with sensitivity and intention so that you are fully supported throughout the process, while the final work remains true to you.

Bespoke in every sense

These sessions can take place at home, on location, or in a carefully chosen setting that complements the mood and concept of the work. Styling is tailored individually, and every decision is made in service of the portraits we are creating together.

The aim is to create portraits with depth, beauty and presence, images that feel composed, truthful and enduring.

The finished portraits

These photographs are designed to be more than a passing digital collection. They are created as pieces to keep, to frame, to live with, to return to, and to value more deeply with time.

Some women choose fine art prints or framed artwork for the home. Others are drawn to the intimacy of a beautifully made album. However they are held, the intention is the same, to create portraits with the feeling of future heirlooms.

Why now?

Because there is rarely a perfect moment.

Women so often wait until they feel more ready, more confident, more rested, more themselves. But portraits need not belong only to some finished version of you in the future. They can honour who you are now, this chapter, this shift, this presence, this becoming.

A portrait can be a celebration, a reclaiming, a record, or simply a quiet act of recognition.
